Features | The IMORI is smaller and more delicate than previous alloplastic implants designed for this indication and requires a smaller area of subperiosteal dissection. The implant is designed to wrap over the inferior orbital rim and extends superiorly and inferiorly medial to the inferior orbital nerve. The implant can be trimmed at the time of surgery to fit the needs of the individual patient. | The plate may extend beyond both ends of the implant, if desired. The implant, with plate in position, allows the surgeon to bend and contour the material to the desired shape. The plates can be used to cantilever the implant over the orbital rim, if applicable. | They may be customized to fit the individual patient by removing excess areas with a blade.
