Glaucoma Research Foundation Gains $1.55M Gift To Launch Capital Drive

The Glaucoma Research Foundation said Friday it has received a donation of $1.55 million to kick off its $12 million capital campaign. The gift, from the Houston-based Melza M. and Frank Theodore Barr Foundation, will jumpstart fundraising as the Glaucoma Research Foundation begins the first year of implementing a new three-year strategic plan, GRF President and CEO Thomas Brunner said Feb. 1.
