American Board of Ophthalmology Appoints Three New Directors

Keith H. Baratz, MD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Rochester, MN and serves on the editorial board of Archives of Ophthalmology. He is also the former Residency Director and former Director of Research in Mayo’s Department of Ophthalmology.

Very Deep Sclerectomy With Collagen Implant Effectively Controls IOP

At 2 years, an IOP of 18 mm Hg or less and a 20% IOP drop without medication was achieved by 57% of patients who had very deep sclerectomy with collagen implants.
