Topcon Medical Systems Appoints Corey Nielson as new VP of Sales
OAKLAND, NJ, August 22, 2017 – Topcon Medical Systems (TMS) of Oakland, NJ is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Corey Nielson to the Position of Vice President of Sales. Corey succeeds Mr. Al Brooks, who will remain Senior Vice President and will assume Global Strategic Sales responsibilities for Topcon Corporation. Both Corey and Al will report to John Fujita, President of TMS.
Corey has over 15 years of solid sales experience in the ophthalmic device industry. He has worked as a sales consultant and regional sales manager for Zeiss Meditec and Topcon. In 2012, Corey was appointed to the position of Director of Corporate Sales for Topcon and then promoted to Senior Director in 2014. During his tenure as Senior Director of Corporate Sales, Corey was responsible for a 120% growth in revenue in the corporate and government sales channels.
