 "SIGHT: The Story of Vision" Debuts Starting Today

The documentary SIGHT: The Story of Vision debuts starting today, World Sight Day, October 13th, on PBS affiliates nationwide.

The one-hour documentary is narrated by Sir Elton John and features a comprehensive look at the science, medical and technology of human vision. The film reportedly includes several individual stories of those around the world who are losing or have lost their sight, as well as interviews from experts including Drs. Rohit Varma and Mark Humayun from the University of Southern California (USC) Roski Eye Institute.

The documentary from filmmaker Kris Koenig will reportedly be broadcasted throughout the fall and into spring 2017 through more than 30 public TV stations including New York, Chicago, Tampa, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Oregon, Denver and Dallas, debuting it on or around October 13. The filmmakers have also reportedly secured international broadcasting partners in Canada, Europe and Asia. Check your local TV listings for broadcasts in your area.
