 STAAR Surgical Announces Two Cooperation Agreements, Receives Health Canada Approval for Toric ICL

Implantable lens developer STAAR Surgical Company recently announced two new strategic cooperation agreements, and reported receiving approval by Health Canada for its EVO Visian Toric ICL® intraocular lenses.

Earlier this month, STAAR Surgical entered a strategic cooperation agreement with World Eye Hospital Group in Istanbul to provide STAAR's EVO Visian ICL intraocular lenses as a primary and premium option for refractive eye treatment.

Additionally, STAAR Surgical has entered into an agreement with refractive surgery provider EyeQ Vision Private Ltd. in India to also provide EVO Visian ICLs as a primary and premium option for refractive vision treatment.

And STAAR Surgical has recently received approval of its EVO Visian Toric ICL for distribution in Canada by the Medical Devices Bureau of Health Canada.
