Haag-Streit USA recently announced the launch of the Hill-RBF Calculator for intraocular lens (IOL) power selection that will be included in the next EyeSuite software cycle and exclusively available to LENSTAR users.
According to the company, the Hill-RBF Calculator features a data-driven methodology free of calculation bias that will help increase patient safety and physician confidence. The product, which was six years in the making, was a collaborative effort between a team of 24 surgeons in 13 countries, plus Haag-Streit Switzerland and MathWorks.
