 HelpMeSee Honored at 2016 Classy Awards, Partners with HARMAN

HelpMeSee — a nonprofit committed to ending cataract blindness — was recently recognized by the 2016 Classy Awards as a top 10 nonprofit and social enterprise.

The Classy Awards reportedly selects 10 award recipients through a year-long research and vetting process. HelpMeSee was selected for its innovative program to end cataract blindness through surgical training.

Additionally, HelpMeSee recently announced connected technologies company HARMAN has been selected to develop a simulation-based training management system for delivering standardized cataract surgery training to thousands of cataract specialists. The system will include a library of pre-configured training scenarios, Eye Surgical Simulator,and reports.

HelpMeSee reportedly plans to offer the training program at select training centers around the world.
