Las Vegas, NV, Thursday, November 12th 6:00-8:00pm Wynn Hotel

Visunex Medical Systems, Inc. will be launching the PanoCam™ LT Wide-field Digital Imaging System and PanoCam Review Software™, for the imaging of all newborn infants at this year’s American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in Las Vegas.

Pediatric imaging is commonly performed for prematurely born infants at risk for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Retinoblastoma (RB). At AAO, a panel of experts that includes:

  • Darius M. Moshfeghi, MD of Stanford University
  • R. V. Paul Chan, MD of the University of Illinois at Chicago
  • Audina M. Berrocal, MD of University of Miami
  • Andrew A. Moshfeghi, MD of the University of Southern California

The distinguished faculty will discuss current trends in Pediatric Imaging, and the Future State of Universal Eye Imaging for All Newborns.

The use of Digital Images in caring for premature infants is a standard in many parts of the world. Photo documenting eye images of babies at risk for ROP and other vision disorders may represent a significant, unrealized clinical need.
