Moscow, Russia - NanoVision Group and OVI Lens, Italy, have reached an agreement for the manufacturing and distributing ophthalmic products, as well as for a collaboration on new technology development.
The partnership will enable OVI Lens to manufacture advanced, world-class bandage and therapeutic contact lenses under the umbrella of NanoVision Group. From September 2014, NanoVision will distribute OVI Lens's Quotidia® therapeutic, Quotidia® Daily Aloe, Quotidia® Therapeutic Aloe and Quotidia® Scleral Aloe contact lenses in Asia, Europe and the Middle East under the NanoVision brand and on an exclusive or co-exclusive basis, depending on the market.
OVI Lens’s portfolio integrates NanoVision’s planned extensive line of hydrophobic and hydrophilic acrylic IOLs, including the Hoffer Lens, NanoLens, and 3D Lens brands of IOLs for implantation after cataract removal as well as the line of proprietary VIZUM® Excimer and femtosecond laser systems for refractive, corneal and cataract surgery.
